Volontà solidale - Service Centre for Voluntary Cosenza

The Csv - Centre for Voluntary Service in the province of Cosenza is a body provided for by the Framework Law on Volunteering ( L.266/91 ) run by Will Solidarity Association of Associations, a non-profit, which has been entrusted with the task of support, promote and qualify the activity of Volunteers in the province of Cosenza.

The Csv Cosenza has been operating since 2004 and is financed by the Special Fund for Voluntary under Article. 15 of Law 266/91, administered by the Management Committee (general ledger) of Calabria.

The Csv of the province of Cosenza:

• promotes, supports and qualifies voluntary action
• operates according to the principles of " subsidiarity " and " empowerment " to promote the role of active citizenship in building a more cohesive society and to ensure the protection of the Common Good
• enhances the human resources of the voluntary and enables active citizens of the province of Cosenza to be and do volunteer work
• intended to be a facilitator in the activation of resources and networks of associations and active citizenship
